Kisii professionals from Nakuru County have demanded an apology from Governor Kinuthia Mbugua and Bahati MP, Kimani Ngunjiri, for disrupting former Prime Minister Raila Odinga’s meeting on Saturday and trying to evict him from the county.
Addressing a press conference in Nakuru Town, the Kisii professionals, who were among those who were being addressed by the CORD leader before they were rudely interrupted by Mungiki, condemned Kikuyus for trying to demarcate the country.
They said it was wrong for the CORD meeting to have been disrupted by pro-Jubilee youths led by their leaders.
They are demanding for an unconditional apology to them and to the Opposition Leader.
The group had sought audience with the CORD leader claiming they were being sidelined in the running of the County affairs.
“We decided to call for the meeting because it has been difficult for us to reach Governor Kinuthia Mbugua and the County Commissioner to address the underlying issues,” said Sospeter Tomato.
