Akothee is set to leave Kenya and relocate with her family to Europe.
The singer who is currently riding high with a number of hit songs has shocked many with the move which she revealed during an interview with Radio Citizen.
Akothee who just recently launched a new song has revealed that the move to Europe is not for musical reasons but rather a result of concern from her husband.
According to her the husbands is worried that she is not getting enough rest or eager to rest. He has thus asked her to relocate the whole family to Europe.
Akothee revealed that she has just one more week in the country before she jets out. She however says she will be coming back in the country frequently on holidays.
How this affects her music and whether it is the end of her musical career will be determined with time.
