Daughter to former Lugari Member of Parliament Cyrus Jirongo, Sally Jirongo, has for the first time spoken about the brutal murder of her Amrican boyfriend in Nairobi’s Kilimani area.

Sally narrated to Moha Jicho Pevu’s expose, Kaburi la Wazi, on how the killers accosted them and short the boyfriend, Cameron Huntler, dead along Kilimani Road.
She said that they were on their for breakfast in a nearby mall when three men confronted them.
“One of them pulled out a gun and pointed it at Cameron and he said give me the bag. I told him babe just give them everything they want,” Sally said.
Her boyfriend could not surrender the bag immediately so one of the thugs tried to pull it away from his back and Cameron pushed him away.

Sally says that a scuffle ensued and the thugs shot her boyfriend on the arm.
A furious Cameron pushed one of them away prompting them to shoot him on the face.
Efforts to help him bore no fruit as he was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Nairobi Women’s Hospital.
Speaking separately after the incident, Jirongo said he believes the murder was a message meant for him.
“Wewe ujichunge sana hiyo mdomo yako na ukishindwa tutakuonyesha kuizima (Be warned, shut up or we shut you up),” the message warned.
Jirongo claimed that there are people who want to assassinate him after he criticized a number of top officials in the Jubilee government.
He further says that a friend of his also received the same text.
