Fashion blogger Joy Kendi was part of the influencers creating awareness for the Safaricom’s 4G network but her participation could be in jeopardy.
After posting a bikini photo on the beach, she might have ran into some trouble. She took to her Instagram to apologise for any offence the photo may have caused.
The post reads: I recently uploaded a photo of me for a @safaricomltd 4g campaign I wanted just wanted to take this time to make a heartfelt apology to Safaricom and to anyone that the photo may have offended. It was not my intention to misrepresent the brand in anyway.”
However, her followers did not see any wrong in the posting of the photo seeing that she was at the beach and a bikini is an appropriate attire for the beach. They too took the opportunity to air their views.
ms_kariuki I'm just sorry you were made to feel like your body is offensive. Your campaign for Safaricom is AMAZING!
Amtinatee Really. ..if they gave you the right to create awareness or being brand ambassador of 4g then they should let you post anything..the pic was very decent...this is 2016...what was that cooking oil advert that i saw i ddnt understand a thing and it aired like 100000000 times. ..
Wambuigitau: Will you please then put up the photo again with a different caption altogether?Body goals for so many of us...a woman comfortable in her own skin
kajaamz: That photo was bomb. Why they gotta be like that?
iagoolins: this is ridiculous.
