Mike Sonko’s youngest daughter – Sandra Mbuvi – lost a toe nail while playing with friends in Mombasa where his family is holidaying.

The Senator had to leave everything he was doing to take her to hospital. She was treated and discharged on the same day.

He later took to Facebook to ask his followers to join him in wishing her a quick recovery.

“SO PAINFUL. WHAT A SAD DAY TO START THE NEW YEAR! MY DAUGHTER WHILE PLAYING WITH COLLEAGUES LOST ONE OF HER TOE NAILS. SHE WAS RUSHED TO HOSPITAL, TREATED AND DISCHARGED. KINDLY JOIN ME TO WISH HER A QUICK RECOVERY,” SONKO POSTED.
